Film Production Services

Backcountry Snowcats Ltd. has been serving film productions since 1990. We specialize in solving logistical problems by being creative and matching the correct equipment to the job. We will modify our snowcats and snowmobiles to make the job safer and more cost efficient.

Over the years we have worked on dozens Feature films and many TV commercials providing many services.

Grooming

Need grooming to your ski in/out property? No Problem!

We transport our snowcats ready to groom, so we can be fast and discreet. We can dedicate a snowcat for exclusive grooming services that are on demand due to weather or usage. The runs that lead off piste into estate neighbourhoods are our speciality. Our up to date Pisten Bully snowcats provide the same corduroy surface found on the ski hill.

Backcountry Snowcats owns and operates several snowcats for grooming services. We have prided ourselves by providing our services to the snowmobile clubs and tour businesses, building and maintaining many trail networks in and around the sea to sky community. We have satellite and radio communication and access to the best weather and avalanche forecasting to made the job safe and successfully.
