Cancellation Policy

If we receive a cancellation 6 months in advance, you will get a refund, minus a 10% administration fee per seat. If we receive cancellation notice 30 days before your trip, 50% is non-refundable and the remainder, if paid, will be refunded to you or credited towards another trip during that season. After the 30-day notice, all funds are 100% non-refundable. If the canceling skier can find a replacement guest to fill the seat, then any funds we have received can be transferred to the replacement skier. If funds are refunded to the canceling skier then charged to the new guest by Backcountry Snowcats, a $100 administration fee per seat will apply. If the guests transfer funds amongst themselves, there is no fee. Unpaid bookings may be cancelled without notice. All cancellations must be received in writing.

There are no exceptions to this policy, and we strongly suggest that all guests purchase insurance for this reason. Backcountry Snowcats recommends that you have trip cancellation insurance, medical insurance, helicopter evacuation insurance, personal insurance, and liability insurance.
